Cathy Adolph
Cathy is a registered dietitian as well as an ACSM (American College of Sports Medicine) certified Health and Fitness Instructor. She is a life-long athlete, a competitive triathlete, marathon runner and former gymnast. Cathy earned a bachelor’s degree in biology from Indiana University and went on to complete her nutrition education at Marian College in Indianapolis. Cathy gained research experience at the Indiana University Hospital and counseling experience at the Indiana State Department of Health’s Osteoporosis Initiative. She also owned her own personal chef company while working as a gymnastics coach. Cathy works at one of Chicago’s exclusive health clubs counseling clients through weight loss and emotional eating, athletes, vegetarians, teens and clients with osteoporosis, cardiovascular disease, diabetes, cancer and eating disorders. Cathy leads nutrition seminars and counsels clients through many local athletic organizations including Max Multisport Coaching, Lakeview YMCA triathlon group, Running Away Multisport and Well-Fit Triathlon and Training.

Running
1999 – Star Strides 5k ~ 3rd place female age 24-29
2004 – Race Judicata 5k ~ 8th place female overall
2006 – Trick or Treat Trot 10k ~ 4th place female age 30-34
- Turkey Trot 8k ~ 14th place female age 30-34
- Jingle Bell 5k ~ 1st place female age 30-34, 5th place overall
Duathlon
2006 – USAT Duathlon National Championships ~ Qualified for Duathlon World Championship ~ 10th place female age 30-34
Triathlon
2005 – Terre Haute Triathlon ~ 5th in age group, 19th female overall
2006 - Muncie Endurathon Aqua-Bike Division ~ 3rd place female overall
2007 - Ironman Arizona finisher
Cathy has also competed in numerous other triathlon and road races from 5k to marathon and from sprint triathlon to Ironman.
